Tomorrow is the deadline to get your entries in for the Go Sleeveless transformation competition. Well over 100 women said they wanted to enter, and so far I have only received four entries. FOUR!
To say I am greatly disappointed is an understatement.
This is exactly the reason so many people are unhappy with the way they look and feel. They simply will not take action.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and this is a glaring example of that old, but startlingly true cliche.
When I asked if anyone wanted me to hold this competition, I was inundated with emails and comments on this blog to say…
“Please do Rylan! I desperately want to change!”
The minute I ask anyone to step up and actually do the work to enter…
NOTHING!
What gives people??
It doesn’t cost anything; there is no entrance fee, and you aren’t required to buy any of my programs. All you have to do is send me your before photo and your measurements and say ‘I’m In!” and I’ll help you with the rest.
Is that too much to ask?
Here I am, going out of pocket to offer great prizes, giving up a whole lot of my free time, and giving you time that I’m taking away from my family (of which is extremely limited to begin with) to offer free coaching and guidance to help you reach your goals.
And for what?
For you to shrug it off and to sit by idly and say, “I’m not ready yet, I’ll do it later when I have time.”
Look, you can find every conceivable excuse in the book to justify why you can’t get in shape… “It’s my metabolism, it’s my thyroid, it’s my job, it’s my family, I can’t afford it etc, etc, etc”.
Bullshit. (I rarely use language this strong here, so you know I’m serious)
The only reason you don’t have the body of your dreams now is because you haven’t taken responsibility for yourself.
You’ve put EVERYTHING ahead of getting in shape, and now you are reaping the rewards of this behavior.
Look, I was once in the exact same position as you are in now.
I remember when I put more importance on watching the latest episode of my favorite sitcom than going for a walk.
I remember when having a few beers and wings with the guys was time better spent than getting a workout in.
I also remember waking up every single day and being disgusted with myself. I remember getting dressed and looking at myself in the mirror and feeling sorry for myself and despising my very existence.
And who’s fault was that?
My own.
I know you have priorities, but tell me this… How good are you going to be to your family when you have heart disease and need them to take care of you?
How happy are your children and grandchildren going to be when you can’t play with them because you are too out of shape to keep up with them?
How likely is it that your boss is going to let you keep your job when your sick days start outnumbering your work days?
If you keep putting everything else before your health, these are very likely outcomes. It’s not just about looking better, its about being healthier, more vital, having more energy, and enjoying life.
When you are in great shape, you will be happier, more productive, and every single aspect of your life will improve, that is my PROMISE to you.
And remember, we’re not talking about a big time commitment here either. The workouts I’ve recommended and included in the Go Sleeveless system will take you less than half an hour for both the strength training and the cardio together.
Can you honestly say you can’t squeeze out an extra 30 minutes during your weekdays?
Seriously, you spend twice as much time just watching COMMERCIALS each week than you actually will need to spend exercising.
Ok folks, thats enough of my rant.
Please understand that I’m not trying to be mean and point the finger or single anyone out here.
It’s my job as your coach to give you to the tools to succeed. It’s also my job to motivate you, hold you accountable, and give you a swift kick in the ass from time to time.
What I want more than anything is to see you succeed, because I know how much your life will change for the better when you do.
I want to help you, but you need to help yourself first.
You can do this, I KNOW you can, but you have to take action.
So enough excuses. Stop what you are doing right now, and go enter the competition. I’ll even let you keep your before photos private. Just make a commitment to yourself to change your life.
Make me proud.
Coach Rylan

Dude! I understand why you would be upset, but after I wrote that i was interested in participating, I never received any other information indicating the contest was a go! I would have signed up right away… perhaps I am not the only one who never got any follow-up information??
Hi there…sorry you’re disappointed..I would be, too. I’m in…I’ll be sending you my disgusting before pics this evening…you asked for it…brace yourself!
ohhhhhhh coach Ryan dont be pissed… i dont have a digital camera dude.. thats why
Hey Melissa, all the info is in the post below. Hope you get involved!
Brandy, I’m excited to have you join the competition. Thanks for stepping up and taking action!
Hi Ryan,
I have no excuse..although I don’t sit in front of a t.v…I don’t eat junk food and currently am involved with a bootcamp..I just don’t own a camera..however I do follow your exercises and have incorporated them into my workouts. Don’t be too hard on yourself..you are doing a fine job.
Okay, I don’t and haven’t owned a bathing suit in years! What kind of pics should I send. I don’t even have any of myself because I hate them. Tell me, what pics to send? I have no bathing suit. Thanks
If you don’t have a camera, borrow one or take photos with a film camera and have the photo shop scan them to a disc for you. If you really want to do this you will find a way to make it happen!
I would love to have you in on all of this Dana! Make me proud!
hiya, can understand why your dissapointed, but i also dont recall getting any details of comp,
i would love to sign up, but i cannot send in before pix, am very cautious person, am not questioning your intentions, nor integrity im just mega cautious……would be happy to send all other info though.sorry…..if you wont allow that then i would like to wish everyone who does enter the best of luck, and say well done to you for getting people off their bums…..x
Hey Sallie, see if you can borrow one. I would love to get you involved in this, and thanks for the comment!
Doesn’t have to be a bathing suit, but it’s easier to see the transformation that way and would be more likley to win the competition. Shorts and a sports bra or shorts and t-shirt would be just fine as well.
Just need to be able to see the changes in your body to be judged.
If you are concerned about privacy, I understand that and I won’t post the photos on the blog. I would still need them for myself because there is no other way for me to judge your progress. Either way, I still would love to have you involved! Just email me at info @ gosleeveless .com and we can arrange for something else for you.
how can i follow your program? I am currently on weight watchers and exercising on my own. I am so literally addicted to food that even weight watchers is hard for me, so would your program be a better one for me and how do I get it. If the contest starts tomorrow ….?
Oh my goodness. If I had a nickle for every time I heard someone tell me that weight watchers wasn’t working for them… The biggest and most horrible mistake weight watchers is guilty of is their food selecting system. They force you to use a points system that is simply portion control in disguise. It makes no attempt to get you off the addictive foods. That’s why my Daily Detox Diet works so much better. It helps you kick the cravings so you aren’t eating uncontrollably all the time, cleanses your body so you can let go of body fat, and boosts you energy so you are ready to workout.
As for my workouts, they will blow you away at how fast you will get results.
You can get the program right away (everything is an instant download available immediately after you purchase). The Elite package is available on the order page and includes the Daily Detox Diet, the Recipe Book, as well as the Whole Body Fat Blaster. See my last post for my recommendations for which combination will give you the best chances of the most dramatic results.
You can get everything by going to http://www.gosleeveless.com, click any order button, then select the package you want.
I have another problem, I have no credit cards, (really!) and I am using my husbands work computer right now, mine is down, and I can’t download anything on it.
Come on guys! I sent my photo and I’m in for sure. I need more competition here. Let that be you!
If for some reason you can’t enter by the deadline, email me and I can make alternate arrangements for you.
All I ask is you take some action, even if it’s just letting me know that you are in the process of getting the photos and measurements done, that’s a step forward.
Great work everybody, nice to see you all stepping up and taking action. This is EXACTLY what I hoped would happen!
Way to go everyone! This is what I like to see.
Take action!
Hey Ryan,
As a poor college student, I have been budgeting and putting away money so that I could buy your system in May. I’d love to be a participant for your contest, and I plan on using your system and putting your guarantee to the test but due to my expenses I’m not quite there yet.
I WISH my fellow sisters out there would realize what this contest WILL do for them! JUST DO IT! Come on, GIRLPOWER!
I too, do not own a digital camera. And if I can get the picture made, I have no idea how to get it to you. My computer skills are extremely basic. I am thinking of a friend who might be available to help me out, but she is out of town for a few days. Is that ok? With the help of another friend I could take the picture tomorrow, Apr. 1, but I will probably have to wait a few days for my techie friend’s availability to help send it. Let me know what you think. I don’t blame you for being irritated. I would be too. But I had no idea I was not the only one feeling the pinch on time.
Yes, I am more than happy to give you a grace period for getting the photos in to me. Just send your measurement info until you can get the pictures and I will count you in!
Nicole, thanks for the message. Get started anyway. You don’t need the program, but of course it will help. If you need something to get started, check out my Watchmen Workout at this link…

This will get you some results and you can use it for the first two to three weeks.
Thanks!
you’re right. And i have re-read this post several times because it really hit me that I’m in that place where I don’t believe in transformation for myself. I must have 10-15 different versions of “before” pictures. When you asked for them, I quickly ignored the contest after that. I do workout 3-5 times a week, but my eating (and drinking) habits are bad. I appreciate your post. And I appreciate your effort. So, I’m going to go home and take version 16 of my “before” pictures. Because I want to believe and do. Come On!
That’s the spirit Lisa! Great to have you in on this.
Come on ladies, you can do it! I’ve already submitted my before pics and measurements and was completely terrified, but I still did it. So can all of you!
I got everything in. I’m ready. Let’s do this!
Coach Rylan–
Everything you said is dead on. I was interested and then the doubt started creeping in….so I am going to fight it!
I will send you the pics tonight. However, for those of us who do not have your system (yet-especially in this economy), what exact measurements are you looking for? I want to be exact so I can WIN!!!
Thanks!
Ronica
As I emailed to you I’m in just waiting to get the pics from my camera to my pc – if it doesnt work then i’ll take it to the store and transfer to a disc that way i can upload to this laptop!
The important measurements are for the arms, bust, waist, hips, weight.
Thanks Sarah, great to see you taking action!
Hi, I’m located in Sweden (Nothern Europe) and the time here is now 8.40 PM on April 1st (and I’m still at work). Så I think I have some time still to get my mesurements (they’ll be by the metric system
. So whats the time over there?
I’ll have to ask for estra time to submit a photo, I have a camera but I’ll have to find someone to take the pictures.
But is it really any point for me to participate, since 8 weeks feels like nothing when one has 150 pounds to lose? Also I was a bit uncouraged by your YouTube-films, cause I can’t go down on my knees, it hurts too much. But I’ve been thinking to email you for some alternatives. I’ve bougth your Elite program but have only just started to read it.
I’m already on a better diet though (Isabel De Los Rios, she the one who tipped me about you).
Well 8 weeks is better than nothing, but I know I’m going to need a motivation boost later. I usually get in truble in the 16th week when nothing seems to happend anymore. The difference this time would be the muscle building exersices. I hope they will have effect, if I manage to carry them out that is.
Any other BIG ladies here?
Sure, just send me the measurements and you can submit the photos later.
In 8 weeks you can accomplish a tremendous amount. Remember, it’s not about how you look compared to anyone else, it’s how much you achieve relative to your current condition.
