All I’ve got to say, Kim, is way to go! You did fantastic! Coach Rylan
I have lost a total of 8.6 kg (18.9 pounds) on the six week Fat Loss Project (FLP) with Coach Rylan. I started the FLP after nearly a year of losing 27 kgs at a respectable 500grams a week on average through improved eating and exercise (mostly strength training and some cardio). However after 11 months I was in a rut, food and exercise wise, eating the same exact food every day and doing pretty much the same exercise. I did hit long plateaus. I needed more oomph and variety in my workouts and to extend and fine tune my food choices. I knew that with the right food, exercise and time, I could avoid surgery and saggy skin. Researching this online, I found Coach Rylan. I read his free e-books and found he was right in synch with my own conclusions and experiences after having read dozens of books about weight loss, motivation, nutrition and exercise. I knew his advice was sensible and I felt he had the expertise to take me further than I had been able to go with the resources I had. So I jumped at the chance to join the inaugural Fat Loss Project and I put my trust in him, doing everything to the absolute letter. On the FLP my weight loss has been three times faster than previously, ramping up from 500 grams a week on average to over 1.4 kg per week. The most surprising part though was the dramatic improvement in my body shape over six weeks with a loss of 5 cms from my waist alone. I am really pleased it is coming off the trouble spots. I am not just a smaller version of the fat me, instead I have a wonderful new curvy shape which is being unleashed week by week!
I have given away all my old fat clothes from a year ago, as by mid FLP I was just drowning in them. I can now buy pretty lingerie IN COLOURS! Previously I was limited to “practical, not pretty styles” in black, white or beige in the bigger sizes. I am now wearing pants with a waist band and zip for the first time in more than ten years. I was very surprised too at the unexpected reduction of cellulite on my legs.
My cardio vascular ability and recovery has increased hugely as has my strength. I can now do (proper) pushups (still working on the chin ups…!) These are my official before and after statistics for the six weeks… Weight 93.2kg (was 101.8kg) Bust 104cm (was 107 cm) Waist 84cm (was 89cm) Hips 128cm (was 132cm) Right upper arm 38cm (was 40.5) That’s a total loss of 14.5 cm from those key areas, but I also lost off the neck and ankle and 8.6kg in weight. The eating plan has been easy and enjoyable. I was never tempted to cheat as I was always satisfied with our lovely clean whole food.
This is now the way I will continue to eat from now on. There was plenty of daily support and expert advice from Coach Rylan and also my fellow FLP participants. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to change the shape of their body and get stronger and more confident. I had already been exercising and eating relatively healthily for a year, this was a great pre summer butt kicker and gave me the expert help I needed to fine tune my nutrition and exercise right down to what really works for me. It is hard to put a value on this program, how can you value finally learning a way that means I have a lean, strong healthy body for the rest of my life, free from the addiction of too much food or poor junk foods? I have been on a few weight loss programs, over the past 20 years, some of which worked, weight wise, but they did not deliver on the shape I wanted. Coach Rylan’s program delivers on weight loss and especially in reshaping. He really IS the natural cosmetic surgeon!!! I have avoided the pain, cost and risk of surgery. I have learnt that measurement and shape is what matters at the end of the day, not the numbers on the scale.
I don’t consider this way of eating a diet at all, merely healthy eating. I am very grateful to Coach Rylan for creating and running this program, which was wildly successful for me even though we have never met and I am on the other side of the world! I still have a lot more goals to achieve ahead of me and I intend to continue this plan for life as I reach those goals and then in the maintenance of my new body.
Thank you sincerely to Coach Rylan, this is simply the best program in the world and it really works.

Wow Kim! Awesome job! Amazing results!
Thanks deAnne. I’m still going and the size 18 pants are getting pretty baggy here! My concern that I would drop dead and die of obesity related disease is diminishing as I know I am on the right track with my weight and fitness now. My concern is also for children and the effects of obesity on them, so today I blogged on what we, as a family do to help avoid this in all of us. If anyone of you have kids and want them to be fit and healthy too, visit my blog and if you do something we dont do, or you’d like to give me a new idea to increase our activity level etc, please comment. Don’t tell me I’m a mean Mum cause I don’t let them eat chips except at parties! It’s called being cruel to be kind! http://girlwhoclicked.blogspot.com/2009/11/anti-obesity-anti-mcds-what-were-doing.html
Unbelievable! You really achieved outstanding results! Congrats!
Wow!!! A picture is worth a thousand words. You made great progress in only six weeks. I applied to Fat Loss Project II and hope I have results like yours. Way to go.

Hey, Cool. Well done!!! Will be good to see the 12 and 18 week shots when you get there! (although I suspect you’ll need new togs by then!!!)
Keep it up and enjoy the moments as they happen, especially the day that you walk past the axis of evil (McDonalds) and realize how awful it smells. That was a “eureka” moment for me.
I already smell the evil. When I walk into the main door of the mall here, it is straight into the foodcourt, where lives McD’s, and a host of other “fine food restaurants” selling their deep fried, highly processed wares. The smell makes me feel literally nauseous and I alwasy walk arounf the food court rather than through it due to the revolting smell of cacky fat in the air. It literally grabs your throat and squeezes making it hard to draw breath as the fat seems to coat my lungs (much as I experience with cigarette smoke). I have to move past it quickly to avoid feeling too quesy and to regain breath as I try to hold it a bit to avoid inhaling that awful fat feeling. I will post up more pics over time and tweet about them so you’ll know. One of my goals is to have a youtube before and after sequence such as those that have inspired ME, esp of course my fellow Kiwi Liz Quility (velofille)
great success stories girls! You’d be crazy not to jump on board the next challenge if you’re serious about getting results
Thanks for the comment Dan, always appreciate you checking in!
But what the hell do you think you’re doing??!!
You’re getting married on Friday! Take some time off brother!
My very best wishes to you and your bride by the way!
