No, it doesn't provide the same amount of density and evenly distributed pressure that a foam roller will.

We have a ball for rolling which we learned about in pilates. Is the body rolling ball able to give the same results as the foam roller?

Hello,
I was just searching the net and stumbled upon this nice website. I would like to let the webmaster know that they are doing a great job with this website. I am also working to develop my own website as well. Unfortunately, things aren't going so well, thanks for all you have done!

Rylan, the foam roller is the secret weapon (well not so secret now) in my training belt. Everyone should have one, especially if you work in an office sitting down all day.

So now not only is it great for rolling out tight back from sitting down all day it can also be used as a cellulite buster. Great tip!

Hi Coach, GREAT video!!! You answered all my questions on how to get to all the difficult spots, i.e. especially the inner thighs and biceps. I will definitely work this into my exercise program. Thanks for the valuable information!

Hey Troy,

Yeah, I kind of stumbled upon it by accident too. I was primarily using it for rehab purposes, and this turned out to be a nice side-effect. I've found that it takes about two to three weeks of consistently working on this to see the improvements, but it does make a very noticeable change. 5 Days a week should do it, every day is fine too. It's not really one of those things that you can over-do. The great thing is, you can just do this while you're watching tv or something. It doesn't take much focus or concentration.

I recommend spending about 3-5 minutes on each 'muscle group' that you are trying to work, but it really depends on how many areas that you want to improve. If you are working on the upper arms for example, I would say rolling back and forth over the side and rear of the upper arm should take about 3 minutes. Larger muscles groups like the inner and outer thighs will take longer obviously.

Thanks for the ? Troy
